I’ve blogged before about the upcoming record from Matthew Perryman Jones, Swallow the Sea. The record is finished now, and Matthew sent out an e-mail recently with the track list.

I heard a couple of the tracks last Sunday and loved what I heard. The production quality is a step up from his last record, Throwing Punches in the Dark (which has great lyrics like “Take me to / a place where love can mend these wounds / where mystery can dance with truth / and the broken soul finds refuge,” and can be downloaded for free here). I’m looking forward to hearing the whole project.
