I always enjoy your posts. This blog is great. I enjoyed “Match Point” but didn’t notice the allusions. Maybe I’ll watch it again. It has been awhile. I saw it in the theater in the early days of its release.

Amy, I’m curious as to why you hated the movie. Any specific reasons? One of the reasons I got around to writing this is because I recently recommended it to a couple people who had either heard it wasn’t a good movie or they didn’t like it themselves. What were your expectations going into it?

I really enjoyed reading your post about Match Point. I had never considered some of the messages in this enjoyable film. Thanks for sharing.
