Voices in Wartime is a documentary film that arrived in theatres last April, exploring the connection between poetry and wartime. Shortly thereafter an anthology of poems from the film and essays relating to it was published.
The newest product complimenting the movie has now been released, a CD I produced and composed music for last year. It features poems from the film along with several newer works. Brian Turner, an American poet and the winner of the 2005 Beatrice Hawley Award for poetry, recently published his debut collection “Here, Bullet”, and recorded three of those poems for me.
